Delivery Information for Explosives - Please READ!!

Given that all products on our website are classified as explosives, we are pleased to offer a very competitive and efficient delivery service. However, by placing an order, you confirm your agreement to the following terms and conditions:

  • Next-Day Delivery: For an order to be dispatched for next-working-day delivery, it must be placed before 12:00 (noon). This excludes orders placed on weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 (noon) will be processed on the following working day, for delivery on the subsequent working day.

  • Delivery Guarantee: While we strive for timely delivery, it is not guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays that are beyond our control. We will not issue refunds or provide compensation for late or failed deliveries; any liability for such issues rests with the delivery service provider.

  • Incorrect Information: We are not liable for any loss or misplacement of an order that occurs as a result of an incorrect name or address provided by the customer. Please ensure all details are entered correctly to prevent a parcel from going missing.

  • Special Delivery Instructions: Please provide any special delivery instructions at the time of checkout. This information is essential for us to pass on to the delivery service provider to ensure a smooth delivery process.

  • Failed Delivery Attempts: If the delivery service provider is unable to deliver a package for any reason (e.g., no answer, poor access), the package may be left in a safe place or returned to our business address. A re-delivery charge of £20 will be applied to resend the items.

  • Refused Delivery: If a delivery is refused and returned to our business address, the original delivery charge will still apply. An additional re-delivery charge of £20 will be incurred if you wish to have the items resent.

  • Proof of Age: Upon delivery, an individual aged 18 or over must be present to receive the order. The delivery service provider may ask for proof of age and a valid ID. If ID cannot be provided, the package will be returned to our business address, and the original delivery charge will still apply.

  • Working Days: For delivery purposes, weekends, public holidays, and bank holidays are not considered working days.

Delivery to Northern Ireland

Please be advised that due to the specific handling and cost implications associated with shipping to Northern Ireland, a flat fee of £15.00 per consignment will be applied. This charge is applicable regardless of the order value.

We regret that we are unable to offer complimentary postage and packaging for these consignments.

Deliveries are typically dispatched via DHL's premium 48-hour service; however, we kindly request that you allow up to three working days for delivery before contacting us for a status update.

General Delivery Details

All deliveries require a signature from a responsible adult. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a redelivery fee of £20 will be applied. We reserve the right to apply this charge without prior notice. To avoid this, we recommend using a work address for delivery where possible. Please inform us if you require delivery on a specific day; otherwise, your order will be processed and dispatched at our earliest convenience.

While we maintain good stock levels, if an item is temporarily unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar product of equal or greater value. However, we will always try to contact you beforehand to discuss a suitable alternative.

Due to their hazard certification, certain items cannot be shipped via standard courier. This will be indicated in the product description.

Upon delivery, please ensure you sign for the correct number of items and immediately check that your order is complete. Please do not wait until the day of your display to verify the contents. If any products are missing, notifying us promptly allows us time to resolve the issue for you.

Claims for Shortages

Any claims for missing items must be submitted in writing by post or email to sales@norfolkfireworks.co.uk within three days of receiving your order. Please include details of the missing items and your consignment number. This will enable us to liaise with the couriers to locate the missing item. If the item cannot be found, we will either send a replacement or arrange a credit.

Damaged Goods

If your products arrive damaged, please take photographs and notify us immediately by telephone on 07585 610 373 or by email at sales@norfolkfireworks.co.uk. We will then arrange for a replacement and collection of the damaged goods or a refund.

Product Information & Substitutions

All our fireworks meet European Standard EN15947 and are supplied on the condition that they will be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

We do not accept liability for any consequential losses arising from the use of our products.

Payment is required to confirm your order. We do not offer a sale or return service.

Purchasers must be 18 years of age or over. It is illegal to sell adult fireworks to anyone under the age of 18, and it is illegal for anyone under 18 to possess fireworks in a public place.
